"ottima scelta grande rapporto qualità prezzo"

Hotel King

KING MOKINBA WAS A GOOD BUY

My wife and I recently stayed at the King Mokinba hotel in Milan for two nights. It turned out to be a an excellent stay. I had trusted the reviews I’d read on TripAdvisor.Com as Rick Steves doesn’t mention Milan in his book. But we wanted to see The Last Supper fresco and so decided to seek the adventure of Milan on our own. Coming directly from the U.S. by plane to Milan, the hotel couldn’t have been easier to find walking only a few minutes from the Cadorna Metro station in Milan. I practiced the walk a couple times from Googleearth Street View and it was flawless (even easier than it seemed online)- The hotel is located in the same blocks as a number of decent, cheap enough places to eat- and only a few blocks from the Duomo and Galleria in the heart of Milan. The neighborhood was very good and we felt comfortable at all times of day and evening. The staff was helpful, and pleasant enough for an inner-city hotel- no complaints. The room was clean and had blinds that completely cut out noise and light from the street which was definitely needed as we adjusted to European time.  TimboCedarFalls (USA)

Ottimo soggiorno

"absolutly satisfied"

“ITA Milan traveled with a group of students based to a comenius project. We were absolutely satisfied with our choice.
The distance was actually very close to metro station Milano-Centrale (10 min.walking). The rooms were very clean, beautifull decorated and the staff very friendly. Probably the best hotel I visited with students in recent years. Highly recommend it to all!!”

Ottimo compromesso

Ottimo affare

Soggiorno in doppia, camera e bagno ampi e confortevoli.

Perfect Location – Perfect Hotel for heavy sleepers

Location, Location, Location. This Hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay The wife and I arrived to the Milano Centrale trains station – took the green line 2 to Cadorna station and a couple block walk to hotel. All other sites were within walking distance (St. Ambrogio, Duomo, Santa Maria delle Grazie/Last Supper, Castello Sforzesco, etc.) and the express train to Malpensa Aeroport from Cadorna train station – all within 10 minutes walk. The staff was ok, breakfast was not as nice as other 2 other hotels we stayed at in Rome and Florence, made me pay 1 euro for city map, room was adequate, smallest room of our 3 hotel rooms, only queen bed, shower was tiny tiny tiny, no English channels or subtitles on TV except CNN, air conditioning struggled to keep room cold, but it cool enough by the 8/9pm. Light sleepers beware!!!!! the street traffic is quite loud as most reviews comment on, however, since my wife and I are both heavy sleepers we sleep through the night.Would recommend to all heavy sleepers who want a location by all the tourist sites.

Amazing hotel just make sure you…

My best friend and I stayed at King Mokinba last weekend. Great value for the money you pay- the room was very clean, beds comfy and the bathroom, though a bit small, was of a good standard. Also- the location is just amazing. There is one very important thing to remember, which will make a difference between having a great time and the worst experience. When booking the room, make sure you ask for the street view. We spent the first night on the third floor, courtyard view, next to a power generator. But after we complained, they changed our room to 604- top floor, street view- amazing :) I would definitely stay at King Mokinba again! It’s a perfect hotel for somebody with a small budget.

“ideal location at great price"

I have to say I had 3 pleasant nights stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was big enough for one and very clean, with a plasma tv on the wall. I’ve stayed in several hotels in Milan and I would definitely go back to this one again. I paid £53 per night for the room which I consider to be reasonable. It definitely is worth a stay.

"Pretty good hotel with excellent location"

This hotel is better than many of the negative reviews would suggest. Firstly the staff were very helpful to us – maps, directions and suggestions for restaurants and the like were pleasantly offered. It was very clean and seemed fairly modern. Our room (207) was small but perfectly formed. There was a small balcony overlooking the street and the noise was minimal with the doors closed. The aircon was good and we didn’t really experience any significant noise from other rooms. The only comment to make was that the shower cubicle was tiny, but it was made up for by great water pressure and ample hot water! The location is ideal. 5 min (easy) stroll to Cadorna Metro / Train station. The Duomo and surrounding shopping areas are less than 10 min by foot. The Leonardo de Vinci’s “The Last Supper” is an easy 10min too but suggest you book ahead if you really want to see it. It was fully booked when we were there so had to miss out. All in all, I think that you should definitely have this hotel on your list if you want somewhere central in Milano!
